Sarah Julian - Civil Celebrant

Wedding Checklist

Planning a wedding can be a daunting experience -
if you let it!

There are many websites out there
with clever ideas to help you stick to your budget,
plan well and not leave anything out!

One comprehensive checklist I have discovered
may help you in ticking off your requirements
as you go, and can be found at the following website:

Things To Book First!

Celebrant
Ceremony Location
Reception Venue
Photographer

If you can organise the above 4 main elements
to your wedding day to suit your date & time,
the rest will all come together...

For Your Celebrant

You will need to prepare some paperwork
for your celebrant...

Your original birth certificates

Your divorce papers
(if you have been married before)

Your Australian or International passport

Your citizenship certificate
(if you were born overseas and have become an Australian citizen)

Your Drivers Licence
or
Proof Of Age Card

These documents aren't always at your fingertips,
and the office of Births, Deaths & Marriages in your state,
or your local courthouse are good points of contact
when searching for a copy of your originals.

Don't forget to utilise the knowledge of your celebrant
- we have a lot of ideas, and many contacts
to make your wedding planning a little easier!
